The Journey of Siddhartha Gautama: From Prince to Buddha

One day, Siddhartha ventured outside the palace walls and was confronted with the realities of life that he had been shielded from - old age, sickness, and death. These sights shook him to his core and sparked a profound existential crisis. He realized that wealth and luxury could not shield him or anyone from these inevitable truths of life.

This realization led Siddhartha to leave his father's abode, his wife, and his newborn son. It was not a decision made lightly, but one born out of a deep desire to understand the nature of life and suffering. He renounced his princely life and embarked on a spiritual quest for enlightenment.
